Amy holds a MFA from Massachusetts College of Art and Design, a BA in Art, and a BA in Psychology from Bucknell University. Her work focuses on a variety of graphic and layout design for the production of websites, infographics, reports, books, and all promotional materials. She has worked on the redesign of numerous NNI websites, including the Indigenous Governance Program, the Indigenous Governance Database, the Constitutions Resource Center, and the Native Nations Institute, resulting in an improvement to UX/UI and an alignment of each site with the UArizona brand. Working with a team, she helped update the design and content of the Rebuilding Native Nations Online Course and moved it onto the UArizona's LMS. In addition to maintaining and developing these sites, she also organizes NNI's digital resources and marketing teams.

Amy is the author of Design Required: Interactive Installation Art Designed to Promote Behavior Change (2015), freelances at Notarobot Design and creates interactive installation art. In her free time she likes to DIY, practice yoga/meditation, and take hikes.
