The Udall Center is currently looking to add a new Community Engagement Postdoctoral Research Associate to its diverse and enthusiastic team of more than two dozen research professionals at the University of Arizona.
If you are passionate about research, have a special interest in the role of community engagement in environmental and natural resource governance, hold a doctoral degree (or its equivalent) in geography, environmental policy, planning, political science, or a related field and you have a record of publishing academic research in this area, this may be the perfect fit for you!
As our new Community Engagement Postdoctoral Research Associate, you will have the unique opportunity to research and explore community engagement and its impact on environmental and natural resource governance across a number of efforts already underway at the Udall Center, including projects focused on local green infrastructure and urban greening, the use of novel geospatial tools in federal natural resources engagement processes and governance practices in the Colorado River Basin and many other timely and engaging topics. There is also lots of room for you to design and implement your own research projects in this role so you are welcome and encouraged to bring a creative, curious and inquisitive mind to the position.
If you or someone you know is or might be interested in applying for this exciting opportunity to join the Udall Center’s dedicated and driven research team, please find more information about the position in the job posting linked below.
