Udall Center Director, Christopher Scott, was named by the American Association for the Advancement of Science as a Public Engagement Fellow of the Alan I. Leshner Leadership Institute. The 2018-19 cohort will focus on food and water security. Scott’s work addresses both outreach and “inreach” (establishing applied-research objectives through science-policy dialogues and public engagement). He aims to further develop engagement in three regions with “wicked” food-and-water-security problems: the U.S. Southwest including Native Nations, Latin America, and South Asia. Please see this link for further details of the Fellowship.
