In her role, Davida educational and facilitation inquiries that NNI receives from tribal and non-tribal entities.  She manages fee for service/contractual agreements and procurement processes. 

Since joining NNI in June 2019, Davida has helped in developing, presenting, and facilitating NNI educational sessions. Additionally, she has ensured the content, curriculum, and materials are up to date using innovative tools for both in-person and virtual sessions.  Davida has also expanded her duties to present during the Native American Youth Entrepreneurship Program, assist in discussion facilitations during January in Tucson classes, represent NNI at national conferences, etc.

Davida earned her M.P.A from Northern Arizona University and holds a B.A in Ethnic Studies and Modern Culture & Media from Brown University. Before this role, she worked for the American Indian College Fund to help Native students navigate the college process by promoting tribal colleges & universities and creating content for Indigenous communities. Her experience in education and working with underprivileged groups has been vital to her work in advocacy, community outreach, and project development. 

She hopes to expand her knowledge of policy and tribal relations in this role to better understand capacity development in Indigenous communities.
