Water climate on U.S. / Mexico border

BINATIONAL WATER-CLIMATE RESEARCH TEAM CONVENES IN SONORA, MEXICO
Christopher Scott, Udall Center Assistant Research Professor of Water Resources Policy, and other project leaders (Margaret Wilder, Center for Latin American Studies; Robert Varady, Udall Center) convened the binational research team for the project, “Information Flows and Policy: Use of Climate Diagnostics and Cyclone Prediction for Adaptive Water-Resources Management Under Climatic Uncertainty in Western North America,” at a recent workshop in Hermosillo, Sonora. The project is supported by the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research. See notes and presentations from the research team’s meeting (in English and Spanish) at the project Web site.
