Sara Shuman
Graduate Research Assistant

Sara Shuman is a graduate research assistant at the Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy and is working with the Native Nations Institute for Leadership, Management, and Policy (NNI) research team. As a research assistant at the Udall Center, Sara's focus is on American Indian health issues.

Sara is a graduate student in the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health at the University of Arizona . She earned a B.S from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, in both biology and environmental studies in 2006. Her current research interests include U.S.-Mexico Border health, human rights, and Indigenous health.
