Jamie Dolan
Graduate Research Associate
Jamie Dolan is a graduate research associate with the Native Nations Institute for Leadership, Management, and Policy (NNI), an administrative unit of the Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy at the University of Arizona (UA). As a graduate student in the
UA Department of Sociology, Jamie's dissertation
focuses on effective management of tribal fish and wildlife programs.
Jamie earned an M.A. in sociology in 2004 from the UA with
her master's paper examining the effects of environmental movement activity
on toxic waste in Arizona. Her B.A. is in sociology and French, earned in 2002
from Carroll College in Helena, Mont. Her undergraduate thesis explored the
motivations of volunteers who worked in a palliative care hospital in Caen,
France. Jamie's current research interests include environmental sociology,
organizational theory, social movements, and gender.
