Established in 1987, the Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy at The University of Arizona sponsors policy-relevant, interdisciplinary research and forums that link scholarship and education with decisionmaking. The Center specializes in issues concerning envronment, natural resources, and public lands, particularly in the southwestern United States and the U.S.-Mexico border region; governance and economic development among indigenous nations; and related topics.
