Mary Elizabeth Jäger

Research Analyst, Native Nations Institute

Mary Beth Jäger is a research analyst for the Native Nations Institute (NNI) at the Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy at the University of Arizona. Previously, she worked as a consultant for NNI at GANN sessions. She is excited to now be part of NNI's staff in a full time capacity!

Jäger earned a BA at Carroll College in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and a master's of social work (MSW) from the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis, with an emphasis on social and economic development in American Indian communities. She was also a Kathryn M. Buder Scholar and research assistant for the Center for Social Development.

Prior to joining the NNI staff in 2012 she worked for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri and recruiting Native students for the social work program at Washington University.
